DRUM and Vamos Unidos Delegation

Derechos Humanos would like to invite all of our Tucson friends and allies to join us in welcoming the members of the Border Solidarity delegation.

Conveners of the delegation are the New York- based DRUM (Desis Rising Up and Moving), and amazing organization that seeks to raise the leadership of low-income, South Asian immigrants to lead policy and social change that impacts their own lives, and Vamos Unidos, which organizes Latina/o immigrants, currently predominantly street vendors, for economic and racial justice, immigrant rights, and police accountability.

Participants in the delegation include members of the National Network for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, the Black Alliance for Just Immigration (BAJI), Breakthrough Media, and ACLU-Arizona.

We are excited to have such incredible allies come out and share this experience on the border.

Please join us for the following events:
